Meet the Humans Behind the Herd

It takes more than teeth and tails to keep this dinosaur herd stomping strong. It takes a whole village of kind, creative, dino-loving humans! Here are the amazing folks who help Flossie, Princess, Cera, and friends spread joy, knowledge, and a whole lot of ROAR.

Amanda is one of the masterminds behind the magic! She’s a Flossie and Cera puppeteer, a dedicated dino ranger/handler, and a co-founder of the herd. If a dinosaur is behaving just right (or getting a gentle reminder about manners), Amanda is probably nearby. Calm, caring, and always ready to help a dino make a new friend.

Chip wears many hats, Flossie puppeteer, dino ranger/handler, chauffeur, and “and more!” kind of guy. As a co-founder, he keeps the whole operation rolling (sometimes literally). Fun fact: Chip also appeared in the movie You’re It, written, filmed, and directed by Ron Rossmann.

Hope is the puppeteer behind Princess and a fantastic dino ranger/handler. We first met Hope as the dinosaur expert at local events! If you had a tricky dino question, Hope had the answer. After seeing her passion for dinosaurs and storytelling, we knew she belonged in our herd. Hope helps us spread love, learning, and kindness, one roar at a time.

Movie Star Alert! Hope is the leading star of “You’re It!”, a movie written, filmed, and directed by Ron Rossmann. This was her very first movie, and she’s absolutely thrilled (and so proud!) to see it come to life. And yes… we’re proud too! Turns out Flossie’s herd is basically a Jurassic red carpet.

Cher is the puppeteer for Delta, our upcoming new dinosaur (stay tuned 👀). She’s also our behind-the-scenes hero and official puppet-fix-it wizard. When something needs stitching, tweaking, reinforcing, or a little extra puppet TLC, Cher swoops in to save the day, no cape required (but we wouldn’t stop her!). 

This herd has legit Hollywood fossil credentials! Cher’s professional credits include The Muppet Christmas Carol and the beloved ’90s sitcom Dinosaurs. With experience like that, she brings some seriously next-level puppetry magic to the herd!

John is our electronics master and 3D-printing genius. He’s helped with the electrical side of Flossie and 3D printed a life-size skull of a Nanotyrannus lethaeus, and it’s, she’s very impressive! John makes sure the science and tech are just as strong as the smiles.

Justin is our sound wizard. If you hear a roar, growl, or perfectly timed dino noise that makes kids’ eyes light up, that’s Justin’s magic at work. Every dinosaur needs a great soundtrack!

Lindsey (Justin’s daughter) puppeteers Beta the Velociraptor and is also a budding photographer. She’s learning the ropes, snapping memories, and proving that the next generation of dino handlers is already stomping in strong.

Dale and Jake, Amanda and Chip’s sons, are often at events helping keep everything running smoothly. Whether they’re directing guests, guarding Flossie, or stepping in wherever extra help is needed, they’re an important part of the herd. Calm, reliable, and always ready to assist, Dale and Jake help make sure events stay safe, organized, and full of smiles.
