…. Our friends at the Southern Belle Ghostbusters!
The Southern Belle Ghostbusters are a fantastic volunteer Ghostbusters group founded by our dear friend Cheralyn “Cher” Lambeth. They bring smiles, nostalgia, and a whole lot of heart to community events, proving that saving the day can also be about kindness, inclusion, and fun.
Fun Flossie Fact: I’m an honorary Ghostbuster! Amanda and Chip (my amazing puppeteers and Park Rangers with Welcome to Jurassic Parties) are also proud members of the Southern Belle Ghostbusters. Turns out dinosaurs and Ghostbusters make an excellent team. No ghost stands a chance… especially against tiny T-Rex arms. No ghost stands a chance… even if my tiny T-Rex arms need a little help holding the proton pack.
Meet Cheralyn “Cher” Lambeth
Cher is one of those humans who makes Flossie clap her tiny arms in amazement.
She’s an incredibly accomplished puppeteer, artist, author, and storyteller with an impressive career that includes working with the Jim Henson Company (on Muppets Christmas Carol and Dinosaurs) and projects connected to Star Wars (yes, even this dinosaur gasped).
Cher is especially famous for her finger puppets, and she’s currently attempting to break the Guinness World Record for finger puppets for the THIRD time. (Flossie believes in her. Big dino belief!)
Author, Educator, and Storyteller
Cher is also a talented author and educator who loves sharing creativity with the community. She recently appeared at the Gaston County Library’s Gaston Writers Expo, inspiring readers and writers of all ages.
